When it comes to the development of sustainable and environmentally friendly communities, no one does it better than Winkler Development. Requiring a cutting-edge web presence to market their latest residential and commercial development, K-Station, the Winkler team leaned on Harlo to create an urban look and feel that would resonate with Portland’s diverse and hip pool of first-time homeowners.
Utilizing vivid local imagery, dynamic transitions, complex functionality, and a consistent voice and tone throughout, we were able to effectively represent the cutting-edge K-Station development.
Specific site functionality included light-box image galleries, a custom events forum, dynamic floor plans, social-media integration, and a custom BLOK content management system.
Harlo was contracted by Chevalier Advertising to design and develop the new Nikon Hunting web platform. As a leader in hunting optics, we knew this site had to support the brand profile Nikon customers are accustomed to. By utilizing dynamic design techniques, Chevalier Advertising created a design direction that tied in seamlessly with the site's diverse content and functionality requirements.
This robust web platform features an extensive online product catalog with supporting database, flash integration, multimedia video and image galleries, and advanced search engine optimization strategies. But the power of this site truly lies behind the scenes. Featuring a fully custom-built content management system, Nikon now has the power to manage site content, multimedia, products, admin users, and page layouts. It even provides users with the power to edit landing page banners on the fly, saving time and eliminating unnecessary image editing.
MyHotelGuy.com, a new travel site geared towards lifestyle driven travelers, selected Harlo Interactive to develop a web presence that would resonate directly with their social media savvy target audience. Their site features a suite of social media widgets, user comment system, RSS feeds, a persistent side navigation, strong imagery, and a custom content management system.
The team at Knuckleheads selected Harlo to design a new corporate identity and Web interface that would reflect their young, energetic and dynamic culture, whilst simultaneously communicating their range of services and expertise in mobile app development.
Stay tuned, this project is currently under development, due to go-live early Sep 2011.

The site features an assortment of user-focused features, including, but not limited to, a user admin & profile management suite, the ability for users to post video and letter content, vote on media, redeem points for product, and complete all 6 program modules online.
